Newfoundlanders are hearty people, we survive and thrive! While I enjoyed your follow up I must let you know your facts are a little mixed up. With regard to your sentence "The Kings bought out Michelle’s brother’s half of the inherited home, a few kilometres from Trouty"; this is incorrect. When Michele and Ernest were ready to think about their new home the two families flirted with the idea of a buy-out but Michele and Ernest opted not to do so. Jim and Michele own the family home jointly. While we live in Nova Scotia and unfortunately get to Newfoundland so rarely it has been our pleasure to see our family thrive after Igor. Although we've yet to see the renovations Facebook pictures have provided a wonderful look at what has been done. We'll even check facebook for pictures of the upcoming trip to British Columbia and Ontario!
