Port de Grave has been a Liberal stronghold since 1985, but Tory candidate Glenn Littlejohn believes he can break the Grit's grip on the seat in Tuesday's election.

"I think it's pretty good," he says when asked about his chances.

"We feel pretty good about it. We've ran a good campaign. We've worked extremely hard. There's a different feeling in the district. We've taken nothing for granted. We continue to take nothing for granted."

Littllejohn is up against Liberal Leanne Hussey and NDP candidate Sarah Downey.

His campaign got a boost Saturday afternoon when PC leader Kathy Dunderdale stopped by his headquarters and hit the hustings.

They visited a Tim Hortons, a Dominion and a mall in Bay Roberts.
