St. John’s to hold pre-budget consultation

The City of St. John’s will be looking for input on its 2012 budget when it holds pre-budget consultations next week.

The consultations will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 1 in the Foran/Greene Room on the fourth floor of City Hall starting at 7 p.m.

“We believe it is very important residents have the opportunity to make their voices heard as we move through our budgeting process,” said Ward 1 Coun. Danny Breen in a news release. “This consultation session will help to inform residents about our budget process and allow them to provide input as we prepare our 2012 budget.”

Breen is the chairman of the city’s finance committee.
