Good article Steve. $1.2 million is a drop in the bucket compared to what NL software and IT companies got in funding over the past decade so hope you do an article on that some day.

ACOA in the early 1990's was a force to be reckoned with; today it is just a shell of its former self, with staffers attending conferences and photo ops but not getting much done. ACOA administers other federal programs that do not have a presence in Newfoundland. Illustrates what is wrong with the federal government in its attitude towards NL, don't you think?
