Chopper crash in Labrador

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has confirmed there has been a helicopter crash somewhere near Larbrador City.

There are few details available at this point, but initial reports indicate there was one person on board the chopper and they have been taken to hospital.

The safety board has an investigator looking into the situation but will not be conducting a full investigation.

The crash happened at about 8:40 a.m. Saturday morning.

Further details will be posted as they become available.
