The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook is investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a school bus.

About 3:28 p.m. Monday, RNC officers responded to the collision on Brookfield Avenue near the intersection with MacPherson Avenue. A compact-sized passenger vehicle collided with the rear end of a school bus. There are no reported injuries in this collision.

The passenger vehicle received moderate damage, while the school bus was not damaged.

During the last several days, the area has been experiencing poor winter driving conditions. Drivers are reminded to use care, caution and control during such conditions. Speeds should be reduced to meet the driving conditions of the time and use a safe following distance between vehicles.
