On Jan. 11, at approximately 3:30 a.m., RNC patrol officers responded to an armed robbery at the Irving Service Station in Manuels, C.B.S. Two female suspects entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. Both females had their faces concealed during the armed robbery.
RNC criminal investigators believe that these same two females and a third person were also involved in an attempted armed robbery at Ches’ Restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl two hours earlier. There were no injuries sustained during either incident.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the two female suspects or the unidentified male from the Irving armed robbery, who is a person of interest in these investigations, is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
