- landscape railroad ties

I really like the idea of getting some landscape railroad ties. I think that they would be really good for my garden and would help keep the weeds out and make a good border. It will be great!

The railway @ one time was the only transportation link to all of newfoundland and its significance and heritage should be preserved. Many communities throughout newfoundland have restored and continue to maintain their old stations as the railway was integral to their growth. The Trinity Loop is no exception. Hopefully our provincial gov steps up to support.

The NL government and ACOA should fund this excellent tourism project.

Tourist trains are nice..... in those very, very, VERY few places where they actually pan out, they invaraibly have one common characteristic: a big enough market to sustain them. Newfoundland does not. What Nfld. does have is a government with more money on its hands than it does brains to manage it, and a religious zeal for all things tourism. So go ahead.....start applying for buckets of oil loot, get the media alll lathered up about this great return of the railroad to Newfoundland (a whole 'nother chapter on impeccable government deals and wisdom), and start yet another doomed-but-fun distraction....errr, attraction.
