Avalon Peninsula , Outer Ring Road

It looks like iceberg season may have started early in the Avalon Peninsula area of the province as this iceberg sits several kilometres offshore just north of St. John’s. It was one of two that could be seen, the second of which was even further out and sitting in what appears to be pack ice. The two bergs were spotted from the Outer Ring Road.
