I will go - but beware - Hart can no longer wrestle due to his stroke/injuries so he will likely just be making an appearance. If you are hoping to see him wrestle you will have to buy his dvd set... He is a true icon and certainly worth the cost of admission to see him.

This is awesome news for a lifetime fan of Bret. Been a fan of him since I was about 4 back in '88 and watching him and Anvil tear up wrestling back when NTV used to air it. Got his autograph back in the 90's and can't wait to get his book signed. This is bigger then Hogan simply for the fact that I know, from other accounts of appearances by him, that he will make sure every fan is treated just as good as he is treated. He's always been courteous to his fans and know he got where he did in life because of us. He is nothing short of a legend in wrestling.

Its part of a cross-province, cross-country tour...I'm sure the naysayers would be complaining the opposite way if it hard to start/end in Halifax and skip us entirely. You can't please everyone..

It's not a National tour. The young lads here on the rock who run the local circuit are just bringing Hart in to headline their show. Hart doesn't wrestle though, he's retired. He's just making an appearance.

While I have no interest in attending the wrestling, I do have three grandsons in the CLB who likes the wrestling and they know who Bret Hart is, therefore, I will be purchasing the VIP tickets for them, because I know they will enjoy it. As for those who think its a waste....Don't Go!

And the wave of washed up pseudo-celebrities lining up to line their otherwise empty pockets with stupid people's bit of petro cash keeps growing. When Newfoundland got an oil industry, geriatric boomer celebrities soon found a brand new place with disposable....very highly Quick, everyone! Run out and get your tickets! Send the money to its rightful owners.....that is, anywhere else but here.

'DAVID', that's an awfully cynical way to talk about a fundraiser for a great organization (CLB). Not to mention it's a national tour and not just a one-off appearance coming to NL to sap everyone dry. I'd suggest at least reading the article before you chastise our population for living comfortably enough to be able to enjoy some entertainment from time to time.

Hey man, if you don't want to see him, don't go!! Is it necessary to trash other people who do want to see him? Your life really must suck if all you can do is come on here and leave a post like that....

Balnk shooter: Brett Hart will be wlaking out of here with a lot more loot than the CLB. If you think spending $1.00 so that the CLB ends up with a 10 cent donation is an efficient way of supporting a "worthy cause", I have discovered your problem...poor math skills. But a good ol' personal attack is always a great Newfoundalnd tradition...salt of the Earth. Enjoy your homoerotic audience an old steroid's for the kids!
