Snow crab fishery to open Tuesday

The 2012 Newfoundland and Labrador snow crab fishery will open Tuesday, April 3 for most areas, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans announced today.

Fishing will open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and harvesters are reminded that no fishing gear may be set until after the opening time.

Most licence conditions will be available at DFO licencing centres on Friday.
