The International Ice Patrol conducted another of its regular flights over the Atlantic Ocean Thursday and, unlike the last patrol that The Telegram accompanied them on, there was quite a bit of pack ice spotted along with some very large icebergs.

This flight took us east over the Atlantic ocean and over at least one of the province’s oil production fields. While some icebergs were spotted far offshore, most of the ice was seen close to the coast of the province.
