This might not have been the best weekend to have those winter tires removed.

Environment Canada is forecasting snow for Avalon Peninsula Monday morning.

Western sections of the peninsula will get a light dusting of two to four centimeters while the St. John's area is expecting five to 10 centemetres. Snow is expected to end near noon on Monday.

The snow is being caused by a low-pressure system south of Nova Scotia that is expected to head north east over the Grand Banks overnight.

There is also some uncertainty regarding the speed and direction of the system so the public is advised to monitor future forecasts.

Yes of course we have a little bit of snow ,but hey it could be worse!!! I have a roof over my head ,a car ,enough money for gas and groceries and my bills are paid. It could be a lot worse. People out there are a lot worse off and Bob complains about a little bit of snow that will be gone by tomorrow morning.

Yes, it is! Unless you'd rather be living in Thailand, or Japan, or Haiti, or The U.S. Personally I'll take a bit of snow any day over hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, tsunamis.... need I go on?
