Drug-related charges laid in Corner Brook

A Corner Brook man and a youth are facing charges of drug trafficking and possession following a joint RNC-RCMP drug team arrest.

At 3:50 p.m. Thursday, officers searched a vehicle during a traffic stop and seized marijuana, ecstasy and a quantity of cash.

The 20-year-old driver of the vehicle was charged with possession of marijuana and ecstasy, while the 14-year-old passenger was charged with possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking.

The man and youth were released and given a court date.
