I am very disappointed in The Telegram for displaying the above photo with this article, it's obviously not necessary to show it to the public. The story does not become any clearer by seeing such an image, it only demonstrates the lack of privacy and respect towards the young man and his family.

I honestly can't believe how rude some people have the nerve to be. He is gone now and it just isn't right for people to be saying the things they are saying here regardless of certain things he has done. He's now dead, have a little respect for that aspect at least considering his family and the fact that he does have a young son. For the one calling this karma and how now businesses are now safe , lol. yes ok because he was the only one going around doing a robbery in this city .. my love this city is no safer because he is gone from these things.. there are WAY worse out there doing way worse and are completely dangerous! So how about you all just have a little respect for the family members and friends involved and keep your comments to yourself if all you are going to do is belittle his memory. Also to that same person, what are you talking about .. slamming head on into someonesfamily, killing the works of them.. ??? you obviously have no clue what you are talking about at all!!

This male was now stranger to the law, as somebody stated what a waste of a life........my opinion waste of life long before this episode. Fortunately for us common citizens and retail stores our property will be much safer now that this has transpired. We won't have to worry about him ever going on another high speed chase risking mine or your family. Sometimes karma works wonders. Just remember if this had not happened some of the same people making "poor boy" comments would be wondering why this MAN was even on the street to be able to run from the police and slam head on into your family killing the works of them. Good riddence !!!!!! Just another case of good fortune much like the Philip Pynn story. Maybe this will make his whole family smarten up.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?!?!?! You DONT even know the whole story or what he was doing or thinking at the time!!! All you "know" is what the newspaper says! You talk about karma?? So you're telling me that MY FRIEND deserved to die??? "Good Riddence"???? If you even knew him at all you would know what a kind, caring, loving, good hearted person he was. NO ONE deserves to lose their life so tragically, ESPECIALLY this person!!! He was a beautiful person inside and out and he touched alot of lives. It doesn't matter what mistakes he made throughout his life, he was loved by everyone who knew him DESPITE those mistakes. I dunno where you get your information to talking about a high speed chase there buddy but I think you need to check your facts. I think the only people here who needs to "smarten up" are the narrow minded individuals like yourself who only see things on the outside and dont bother to look deeper. This was not a case of "good fortune" it was a horrible accident who left alot of people broken hearted, devastated, angry, etc. Im mourning the loss of my friend and people like you make me so sick..how would you feel if it was your friend, or your son, or even your brother and i told you it was "karma"??? You are disgusting. If you were so "in the know" then you'd know what you're talking about which is clear you dont!!

I am a friend of the man involved. True, he was breaking the law, but he has family and friends, including myself who love him. At this point I dont really care what he was doing, i still lost my friend. My heart is broken. Some people forget so easy that a person is still a person who have people who love them no matter what.what they are involved in.

Disgusting. As much as I dislike crime this young man still has a right to his personal dignity. As does every person on the planet. This news item on all media with photos etc. is nothing short of stupid and degrading. No respect is shown here for basic human life. Freedom of the press should not be interpreted as freedom from responsibility.

When the story of a burglar in Newfoundland getting caught in a window frame and dying came across the internet news services I truly believed it was some kind of a prank story! My god, this is real. A young life gone for nothing. As I read the Telegram's story I am just amazed.

If you use the word assume, you have already messed up. Assume Nothing and you won,t be disappointed. This boy could have been doing a couple of tricks on his bmx bike that went terribly wrong or a dozen other things that have nothing to do with crime...you people need what i think you don,t have...A Life

Whatever the scenario here, a young life is gone, and he must leave behind people who loved him. So, I hope people will respect those people and not use this forum for their " OOH, I'M better than anyone else, and I need to get my obnoxious comments out there, My condolences to the family and friends of this young man.

I think you need lessons in grammar and punctuation given the evidence of your post. The truth of this is coming out. It was a failed robbery attempt.

It's been confirmed that he was attempting to break into the store and got trapped in the window. Hopefully this man's unfortunate end will make other would-be burglars think twice.

Such a waste of life. Our young society is dying in front of our eyes. One can only asume and I say ASUME drugs was the underlying factor in this case. The family left behind are the ones who silently suffer.

I lived long enough to know that you can't assume anything in this life.. While it might appear to have been a botched break-enter, there could also be some other explanation as well.

Yes, we can't assume anything. Have you not ever locked yourself out of your own house and climbed through the window? I know I have.
