Sad to see the employees "shoved around". The retirees were promised certain benefits and deserve to get those benefits. If it was the Fisheries the NL Government would be there trying to shell out money but because it is not the Fishery People it has to stand on its own. Now if they will put an old fishing boat out in the yard at the Mill maybe the government will invest millions in the system.

of course a union boss is going to say don't give an inch. The union bosses always make a bundle when these plants shut down, ask the people in Stephenville. The union is not being realistic and the people of Corner Brook will suffer because of it. Time for unions to realize they aren't there to cause missery for people
