St. John's IceCaps

The St. John’s IceCaps may be out of the playoffs, but they’ve won a different sort of competition, with the team’s website recently being recognized for design excellence by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).

The IAVA also bestowed local tour operator Iceberg Quest with an award for its website, along with Special Olympics Canada.

The three sites were all designed by Mount Pearl-based agency John Atkins & Company.

The IAVA is a made up of design professionals from a variety of countries. Disney, Yahoo! and Wired magazine are listed as members.
