This is so cool! Nancy Bennett is my lifetime friend and I am so very proud of her, for many reasons and this is just the most recent. What a wonderful accomplishment for the entire team, and what a mission it is as well. They are not only great athletes, but great women of compassion with a great capacity for friendship and mutual support. Nancy, I love you! Love to all your teammates as well, now I have yet another reason to make the trek to Newfoundland!

YEA Team AVALON DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have known Nancy Bennett for 35 years, and I must say - she is the most excited about THIS TEAM and its ADVENTURES and benefits for members than any other physical activity she has ever done. When I visited her recently, I met many members of the team when I joined them for a rigorous "boot camp" session. WOW. Terrific women on a mission. It's a real workout, and I woke up the next morning feeling muscles I didn't know existed! CONGRATULATIONS AVALON DRAGONS! You are inspiring. Cindy Fithian, Fairfax, VA USA

Nancy Bennett and her fellow Avalon Dragons are terrific ambassadors for life after breast cancer lived with joy and fitness. We enjoyed seeing a practice in St. John's last summer and then hosted the team when they came to Burlington, VT (and again did great). The women are so forward-looking and determined to live life to the fullest. As a cancer survivor myself I learned much from them. Go, Nancy!! Linda Tarr-Whelan, Burlington, VT USA
