Eastern Health is warning of possible traffic congestion caused by construction to improve the Health Sciences Centre parking lot.
The work may clog traffic around the Clinch Crescent and Mosdell Drive entrances to the hospital, a news release notes.
The improvements are set to be completed by September 2012.
Beginning Monday, the $2 parking located in the west end of the meter parking lot will no longer be operational. The other $2 parking lot on the north side of Clinch Crescent across from the Janeway will remain in operation while improvements are being completed.
Plans to install the pay-on-foot parking system at the Health Sciences Centre were announced last December. The automated pay-on-foot parking system will consist of an automated arm and a payment kiosk system that will eliminate the need to regularly feed meters.
