RNC investigating sudden death in Corner Brook

A man was found unresponsive on the side of a Corner Brook Street Saturday morning and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

The man was found at about noon on O'Connell Drive. His family has been notified and the RNC will not be releasing his identity at this time.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.

The RNC is asking for the public's help in this case. Anyone who may have noticed the man in the moments leading up to his death are asked to contact police at 709-637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
