Comedian Russell Peters is bringing his Canadian tour to St. John’s.

Peters has announced new fall dates for the tour and will stop at Mile One Centre Sept. 18.

Peters’ “Notorious World Tour” features all new material, and features DJs Starting from Scratch from Toronto and Spinbad from New York City.

“I’ve been working on the new act since last year and building and developing the new material in clubs across the States,” he said in a written statement. “It’s been great being back onstage and back on the road again.”

The tour has already seen record audiences in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. In Dubai, his show was the fastest-selling concert in history.

Tickets for Peters’ Mile One show range from $39 to $79 (including tax, plus surcharge), and go on sale Saturday at 10am at the Mile One Centre box office, by calling 576-7657, or online at www.mileonecentre.com.
