Hi iam one of the people involed in the cafeteria closer we at st clares have a few questions. 1 Why is that HC is in the hole over cafeteria, when the cafeteriais already contracted out. 2 How come the HC dont take it over instead of contracting out ,if they say they r losing money, why not just get rid of contracts and Eastern health run it and manage it better. 3When do the cutbacks start? 4 Is it true Eastern Health hired Morrison to get rid of the unions? 5How can non union members work in a union jobs in the health care?

Wow, can you imagine Dunderdale taking this approach (aka Burton Winters). Not likely. Give Kaminski credit. She is going into an open forum where she knows there will hostility and she will have to come up with some really good answers off the cuff. No, definitely you can see she is not from NL.

Question on Health Care With all the financial crises going on in Europe, has the Dept of Health and the CEO of Eastern Health considered going to Greece, Italy, Ireland, and Spain, and place an add in their national papers for Doctors, or other medical staff, we require for our health care system? There may be medical personal in these countries being laid off that may qualify to fill the positions we are desperately trying to fill. Would medical staff who have worked in European countries qualify to work in Newfoundland?
