The HMCS St. John’s docked in St. John’s harbour this afternoon to meet up with 12 members of its crew who are taking in Run the Rock 2012, a fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter.

The team began its run June 7 in Port Aux Basques and will arrive in St. John’s about noon on Saturday.

This is the 17th year for the run.

Members of the team are: Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class, Barry Eady Halifax, NS; Lieutenant Keith Joy St. John’s, NL; Sub Lieutenant Kayla Lamb St. John’s, NL; Petty Officer 1st Class Kevin Whittle St. John’s, NL; Petty Officer 2nd Class Mike Parsons Sydney, NS; Petty Officer 2nd Class Jody Baker Harbour Breton, NL; Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Walsh Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Master Seaman Rob Houston St. John’s, NL; Leading Seaman Anders Berglund Halifax, NS; Leading Seaman Frank Hennebury Lord’s Cove, NL; Leading Seaman Jordan Skinner Harbour Breton, NL; Leading Seaman Larissa Close Watson Lake, YT; and Ordinary Seaman Janesta Ingram Winnipeg, MB.
