The RNC report that Cameron Dunne, 12, earlier reported missing has been located safe.

The RNC is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating missing person Cameron Dunne, age 12.

On Thursday, the RNC received a missing person report concerning Dunne. He was last seen about 2 p.m. that day in the area of Portia Place in St. John’s.

Cameron is described as 5’6”, 120 lbs with black curly, hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black and red checkered zip-up hoodie, dark jeans, Nike sneakers (with dark with yellow stripe) and a ball cap.

The RNC Major Crime Unit is continuing the search and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who has any information pertaining to the whereabouts of Cameron Dunne is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). A little more information on his hiatus would be good reporting, i.e. where they have found him, some background information. Get on par with other media reports. PS - it's none of my business but when you report and read stories like this, you obviously want to know the outsome.

The RNC got the report about a missing child on Thursday and it is not put in the media until Friday? Alot can happen in that time. Why wasn't this blasted all over ASAP?
