Two men are facing charges of marijuana trafficking following the seizure of more than three pounds of marijuana on June 15 by a joint forces RNC/RCMP drug team.

A 21-year-old and 24-year-old were arrested in the Sunnyslope Drive area of Corner Brook after officers seized 8.5 ounces of marijuana, more than $5,000 in cash, and three cell phones.

Officers then executed a search warrant on a nearby home and seized just under 50 ounces of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.

Both men were held in custody until the search was finished and have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and given a court d

So when they say they seized under 50 ounces, chances are it was probably only 2 or 3. oooooh when will the RNC/RCMP start going after the serious crimes, instead of busting some punks with a bit of weed? Just another reason to make it look like their actually doing work I guess.
