RCMP arrested three men early Monday morning for a break-in at Swift Current following the discovery of an abandoned vehicle on the Burin Peninsula Highway near North Harbour.
At 4:55 a.m. Monday, police officers were notified of the abandoned vehicle. Using police dogs, the RCMP report they quickly found and arrested the men and connected them with the break-in at the Swift Current post office.
The three men were charged for theft of a motor vehicle and break and enter.
Two of the men were released and given a July 5 court date.
The third man was kept in custody and will appear in court July 12.
RCMP did not release details of the post office break-in.
