Two charged with uttering death threats in Happy Valley

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP have arrested two people for uttering death threats.

According to police, a husband, 32, and wife, 30, went to a woman’s home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on June 20 and threatened her life, mentioning a gun that was “cocked and loaded.”

The married couple then drove away.

RCMP officers located and arrested the two.

An investigation did not uncover any firearms.

The couple were charged with threats to cause death and released with an Aug. 20 court date.
