A 39-year-old Sheshatshiu received stitches in her head following an alleged assault at a residence.
On June 21 at 5:27 a.m. RCMP responded to a complaint that a woman had been kicked and then struck in the head with a beer bottle.
The woman was taken to the hospital in Happy Valley-Goose Bay where she received numerous sutures before being released later in the day.
Sheshatshiu RCMP have identified three women as suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the assault.
