RNC seeking public’s help to locate speed boat and trailer

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in helping solve a case involving the theft of a speed boat and trailer from a residence in St. John’s.

Between the evening of Saturday, June 16 and the morning of Sunday, June 17 a Caravan trailer with licence plate number TFG-904, a Seagull 18-foot fiberglass speed boat and a 2004 Johnson 55 hp outboard motor were stolen from a residential property in the St. John’s area.

The speed boat has a cab with windshield and sticker on the stern that reads “Eagle Fiberglass”. The boat is described as white in colour with a black Johnson motor on the back.

Anyone who may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
