Is the Canadian Forces legally obligated to fix their members before the are released/ transition? If so where would I find this Policy? Thank you...

It is disconcerting to hear that so many military members are having such a hard time coping, particularly now that Canada’s 10-year involvement in Afghanistan has come to a close. Those brave men and women risked their lives serving our country and we should be serving them as they’ve served us. For that, Jim Lowther and his volunteers at Veterans Emergency Transition Services, are to be commended for the work they are doing. We can also help. Under our Return to Work program, Commissionaires helps military members rehabilitate and return to work through tailored, progressive employment offered at locations across country. This is role for which Commissionaires is very well suited; we have been successfully employing veterans – injured and non-injured – for over 85 years. email@example.com

This is such a sad read: those men and women went to WAR....albeit not becuase we wanted to but because its what needed doing - now because of the hazards of their 'jobs' they have to leave the military. shocking that they have to not only live with the memories of seeing what they had seen and lived but to face the worry of not knowing...how they will or if they will be able to live normally in society or be able to care for their families.. My heart breaks to think canada does nothing more for their Heroes that the laxy daisy americans...these heroes should be held in the highest regard - no matter what. stop spending the money on caribous...and look after our heroes instead... God almighty..sometimes i wonder if we are going to hell in a handbasket...our priorities or that of those in power...absolutely scandalous!
