Man charged with breaking into church office and a business

The RNC in Corner Brook has charged a 25-year-old man in relation to a break, enter and theft June 12 at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church office in the west coast city.

About 8:27 a.m. that day, RNC officers responded to the church office and, as a result of investigation, the accused was charged Tuesday, June 26, with two counts of theft Under $5,000.

He was also charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 for complaints received on June 15 and June 20, from a business in Murphy Square.

The accused was released from custody to appear in provincial court at a later date.
