Man charged with assaulting woman

A 30-year-old Corner Brook man has been charged with assault following an incident at a home Wednesday.

At around 4:36 p.m. RNC responded to an assault complaint at an Allen’s Road home.

The man was charged with assaulting a 24-year-old woman.

The two people know each other, and the victim received minor injuries in the incident.

The man has been held for a court appearance today.
