Mr. Harper is certainly entitled to his opinion and, being a Calgarian himself, one would expect him to say that! Of course, in this, as in so many other things, Mr. Harper is most likely very wrong.!

Prorougie Steve would say that wherever he could con people to keep him in power; why, he'd even proclaim that Nataushish was the best if he were on tour with his lap-dog Minister Peter Peneshue, or, that St. Bride's was paradise if he awoken Senator Fabian Manning from his deep sleep.

He's FROM Calgary; his riding IS Calgary - that's where his constituants reside...what the crap did you expect him to say??...Harper’s ’Calgary is No. 1’ comment stirs the pot” read a CBC headline Wednesday....aaannndd there goes the CBC again -appearing not to report the news, but giving their own swing to a story & giving their liberal sided opinion again....

Harper is from Calgary. He praised up the Calgary Stampede, but in most instances, this is cruelty to animals. I lived in Calgary for years and found it to be rampant with racism, especially in schools. It's a rat-race, very fast, unfriendly city. Good ole NL and its people; nothing like it.

Like most of what Harper says, this too is plain stupid. What would make any city better than others in the eyes of most people? What city could be better than St.Johns ?
