A bag of suspected drugs left on the doorstep of an elderly man’s house in Spaniard’s Bay turned out to be just a bag of grass from a lawn, report Trinity Conception RCMP.

The man called the police to say four youths had dropped off a bag of what could be drugs.

Police determined the bag contained lawn trimmings, and suspect the act to be a prank.

Officers report the man saw the humour in the incident, but wanted to be sure the contents of the bag were not drugs.
