RNC advise of rush-hour traffic diversion

Drivers can expect traffic diversions and slow-downs on Topsail Road and Blackmarsh Road in the area of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in St. John’s from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is advising.

West-bound traffic on Blackmarsh Road will be diverted down Canada Drive.

There will be no west-bound traffic from Canada Drive to Topsail Road.

Traffic heading east and west on Topsail Road in the area of the cemetery will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The RNC is encouraging members of the general public to choose alternate routes to their destinations to avoid traffic congestion in the area of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
