The RNC is seeking witnesses to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on July 12 at around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and Freshwater Road in St. John’s that left the female pedestrian with unspecified injuries.

“When struck by the vehicle, the pedestrian landed on the bonnet of the vehicle. It is therefore very unlikely the operator was unaware of the collision,” states the news release.

The driver is described as a blonde-haired woman in her 40s.

The RNC is aware of multiple witnesses in the area and is looking to speak with those witnesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
