Motorists and cyclists need to treat each other with respect, both have the right to the road. Until we have cycling lanes we have to share. Bicycles are not "really" permitted on the sidewalks and most trails have no bicycle signs. As a cyclist in this city I would appreciate more than an inch between side mirrors and my arm and would love it if people would not transport lawn mowers and lumber with the ends sticking out the side. Not to mention those motorists who yell at you or blare the horn as they get along side, this is not helpful.

That intersection is the worst I have ever seen! Drivers have no respect for the rules of the road! And certainly no respect for other drivers not to mention people on bikes or runners and pedestrians! Stop blocking the intersection! And stop running red lights!!

    Sidewalks Not Roads

Get the peddle bikes off the road and on the sidewalks instead. I can see keeping them off the sidewalks in the downtown where there is alot of foot traffic, but there is no reason why they can't stick to the sidewalks in heavy car traffic and light foot traffic areas. It is safer and will cause less accidents and traffic slow downs. As walkers and runners are expected to follow unwritten rules of the roads, peddle bikers on the sidewalk will to of course such as crossing only at corners when safe.

The most dangerous intersection in Paradise. People constantly block the intersections, run the lights and fail to obey any rules of the road. How many more accidents do we need before something is done?
