RCMP investigate theft from vehicles

The Trinity Conception RCMP is investigating two thefts of items from vehicles in the Bay Roberts and Tilton area that occurred July 19.

The incidents occurred at car drop-off areas on the Veteran’s Memorial Highway, and the vehicles were damaged during the theft.

Police are advising the public to keep their vehicles locked and windows up, as well as not to leave valuables in a vehicle unsupervised.

Anyone with information in relation to these thefts is asked to call the Trinity Conception district RCMP office at 596-5014 or 786-2118, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
