Police investigate crashed car left in trees

A late-model Pontiac in the trees off Rennie’s Mill Road near Empire Avenue prompted a passerby to call the RNC shortly before 6 a.m. today.

The driver of the vehicle did not report the incident to police as of mid-afternoon, according to the RNC, and the matter is still under investigation.
