Woman in Terra Nova car crash succumbs to injuries

Police have confirmed that one of the people taken to hospital after a traffic collision in Terra Nova National Park on Friday has died.

The victim is a 60-year-old woman. There is no further information about her available at this time.

Friday's crash involved a pick-up truck and mid-sized car.

Traffic in the area was held up for several hours as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

There is no further word available on any of the other injuries that resulted from this incident.
