RNC investigating break and entry in Corner Brook

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a break, entry and theft from a convenience store in Corner Brook on the west side of the city.

According to police, around 12:40 a.m. Monday, a male suspect gained entry to the business by throwing a rock through the glass door. The suspect was inside for a brief time and left the area with a quantity of value brand cigarettes.

Patrol services members conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect at that time.

Police are requesting the assistance of the general public in determining the identity of the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the RNC at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
