Four people at a Brigus Junction cabin were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning this morning.

Holyrood RCMP received a call for assistance shortly after 10 a.m. after emergency officials were notified.

Officers from the Holyrood detachment, along with the Bay Roberts Volunteer Fire Department and Moores Ambulance attended the scene and discovered that three of the four people inside the cabin had collapsed from the apparent carbon monoxide fumes.

All four people were outside the cabin when officials arrived and have been transported to the Carbonear General hospital for treatment.
