Happy Valley-Goose Bay hotel robbed

The Hotel North on Loring Drive in Happy Valley-Goose Bay was robbed last night, and now RCMP officers are looking for a man who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man entered the hotel shortly after 11 p.m. wearing a light blue and grey hooded jacket and carrying a weapon.

He demanded money from an on-duty attendant then fled the scene.

The suspect is between 5’10” and 6’ tall.

Anyone who may have seen somebody in the area at the time of the crime is asked to call the Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP at 709-896-1239 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
