There’s only a few more days to catch a feed of fresh cod before the fishery closes.

The recreational groundfish fishery for Newfoundland and Labrador closes one hour after sunset on Aug. 12. and will reopen for a single week on Sept. 22. states a Department of Fisheries and Oceans release.

Thank you Great Federal Ministers and MP's for allowing us poor ole Newfoundlanders to catch a couple of Cod during the dates YOU set. Oh Great Ones Thank You. We need up raise your pay and benefits for such gesture bestowed upon us to over the $150,000 mark. How do you survive on that ? (As every other Province in Canada fishes all they want and when they want)
