Man arrested for impaired driving in Corner Brook

A 24-year-old man from Daniel’s Harbour was arrested by a police officer early this morning and charged with impaired driving and a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.

He was also issued a driving suspension and was ordered to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook on Oct. 23.

The man was arrested after a Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officer, patrolling Herald Avenue around 4 a.m., observed a pickup truck being driven in an eratic manner.
