Man, teen arrested in Natuashish with firearms

A man and two male youths were observed sniffing gas and in possession of several firearms in Natuashish Sunday when RCMP officers responded a complaint around 3 p.m. A 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy from the community were arrested without incident. A 14-year-old boy from the community is still at large. RCMP seized three firearms during this incident and they were confirmed stolen during a break and enter in the community, which police suspect was committed by the accused. The two males apprehended were held in custody and were to appear in provincial court via teleconference in Happy Valley/Goose Bay for a bail hearing today.
