It looks like a man who died on a construction site Monday passed away from natural causes, the RNC says.
RNC Const. Talia Murphy said the province’s chief medical examiner is looking into it, but she said it looks like the 62-year-old man collapsed in the basement of a house and the death had nothing to do with the construction site or any sort of accident.
“We are continuing the investigation but we do not believe it to be suspicious at this time,” she said.

A man died Monday evening in St. John’s from injuries he suffered after falling while working on a home with a friend.
The RNC was called the the east-end home about 6:30 p.m., along with Occupational Health and Safety.
Police say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Not really, but the argument could be made by his family and in that case it would be for the courts to figure out. Probably a matter of liability insurance. Being on a roof without proper safety equipment was a matter of his personal choice and not for employment. Its a sad situation for sure.
