The RNC is requesting the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for a robbery involving a delivery driver for a local business.
This morning, at approximately 2:20 a.m., RNC officers from patrol services and K9 responded to an armed robbery outside a commercial business on Ropewalk Lane in St. John’s. The suspect confronted the employee outside the business with a knife and demanded cash.
The male fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee sustained a minor injury that did not require medical attention.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5’7” and at the time of the incident was wearing a dark hoodie, black gloves, and a blue ski mask concealing his face.
