RNC seeking assistance in Ropewalk Lane break-in investigation

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking assistance to identify suspects in relation to a commercial break and entry on Ropewalk Lane in St. John’s.

According to police, two men,  wearing hoodies and gloves, gained entry into a commercial business at 30 Ropewalk Lane last Thursday around 3:45 a.m.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this offence and is are asking anyone with information to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Information can also be provided anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

The RNC is also issuing a reminder that any person in possession of stolen property can be charged with a criminal offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.

The police have also released a video of the suspects.
