Impaired boating charge laid in St. Anthony

A vessel collision at St. Anthony Harbour has resulted in police charging a man with impaired operation of a motor vessel.

The incident happened on Saturday, when St. Anthony RCMP received a complaint involving a vessel collision, according to a news release issued by the local detachment.

Police reported no injuries, but said several vessels were damaged as a result of the collision. The man arrested has been charged with impaired operation over the legal limit of a motor vessel. St. Anthony RCMP continue to investigate the matter.
